Kit list for Camp

  • Rucksack/Kitbag - Not Suitcases
  • Sleeping Bag
  • Karri Mat
  • Blanket
  • Small Day Rucksack
  • Strong Bin liner / Rucksack inner (waterproof)

  • Trainers
  • Walking Boots or strong shoes (Can be hired from The Outdoor Shop, Stony Stratford)
  • Thick socks
  • Wellingtons
  • Waterproof Coat & Trousers
  • Sun Hat

  • Multiple Socks, Underwear
  • Shorts / Trousers or tracksuit bottoms
  • Multiple T-shirts / Shirts
  • Multiple Sweatshirts / Jumper
  • Pyjamas / Nightwear

  • Cub / Scout Uniform (to be worn during travel)

  • Swimming Trunks / Shorts
  • Towel (include one more to act as a pillow)
  • Toiletries (flannel or sponge, soap toothbrush & toothpaste hairbrush or comb)
  • Sun Tan Lotion
  • Handkerchiefs

  • Knife, Fork, Spoon, Teaspoon
  • Non-breakable Large Plate
  • Non-breakable Cereal Bowl
  • Non-breakable Mug or Cup
  • Drink Container
  • Tea Towel

  • Torch (& spare batteries)
  • Pen & Paper
  • Personal First Aid Kit
  • Plastic bags for dirty clothes
  • Pocket Money (not more than £10) to be handed to the camp banker.


    All items must be marked using indelible ink with the Cub/Scouts name.

    Do not take to camp

  • electronic games
  • stereo / walkman or similar
  • anything valuable
